Something very different from me this week. This is an unfiinshed (undone) non-objective piece that I had started earlier in the summer. I had set it aside when my focus shifted to....well things like Illustration Friday, folding origami cranes, and artists trading cards. In this version, some of the color has been undone to give it a stronger focal point. Also for your listening pleasure, here is a link to Duran Duran's
Come Undone. I loved these guys as a teenager in the 80s. Dang... I just dated myself.

I love this just how it is too - very powerful with the bright focal point. I was also part teen in the 80's, part 20s, but I was more in the U2/RUSH vein! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI always wanted their hair - now I still have my own, but I'm happy... This work is very tactile and nicely balanced. I think this could be a good off shoot to your other work.
